Fara uses role-based permissions to ensure each team member only has access to what they need. This improves accountability, prevents misuse, and keeps your project finances secure.

Roles and What They Can Do

  1. Owner

    • Full rights across the platform.

    • Can fund wallets, approve or reject expenses, manage beneficiaries, and access reports.

  2. Project Manager

    • Can create and manage expenses.

    • Can track budgets and view reports.

    • Cannot fund wallets or approve expenses.

  3. Contractor

    • Limited to viewing and executing assigned tasks.

    • Cannot fund wallets, view reports, or approve expenses.

  4. Accountant/Viewer

    • Read-only access to reports and transactions.

    • Cannot initiate payments or create expenses.

Why it matters: Role-based control ensures accountability and prevents errors or misuse of funds.
